Before massive confusion let me verify what "life" actually means. Don't worry, I will not be entering into a huge ten page dissertation on the meaning of life. So everyone can take their quivering hand and wipe the sweat off your forehead. Last month my sister introduced me to this new organization called Life. After a few confusing conversations and cups of coffee I came to a general idea of what Life was all about.It pretty much revolves around the pursuit of community and leadership building. All I have to say is, "finally someone has a practical solution for all the woes in this world."
Before I became involved with Life I was definitely a nay-say-er. She would bring these strangely happy people into our/MY apartment (disrupting my laziness) and talk non-stop about community and leadership mumbo-jumbo. Grrrrrr... Boy didn't I sound like an idiot :( After regaining some form of intelligence I realized that this thing might actually be pretty awesome. Well, a few Cd's and books later I was hooked.
I know what everybody is saying (or thinking). "How much does this thing cost?" How much does the coffee in your cup cost? I know that I can easily rack up fifty to one hundred dollars a month on coffee and little snacks. At this moment I am drinking a nice machiatto in Barnes and Nobles. So five times ten would be fifty dollars. "Guess what" Fifty dollars a month is all that a one month Life subscription would cost you. YAY and the villagers rejoice. I know who will also be rejoicing. Your coworkers, your manager, and your church group will all be dancing around the maypole.
